Slab Construction |
Special adhesives/thermal barrier reduces heat and cold transfer, while our tab and slot system of mechanical interlocks gives the door exceptional structural strength. A superior polyurethane core provides durability and years of worry free operation. |

Window Trim |
We use a high performance, heat resistant window trim that is warranted not to warp, crack or pull away from the door, even in sunny or higher temperature applications. |

Ball Bearing Hinges |
 Our inswing ball-bearing hinge is standard on all 20 & 22-Gauge Steel doors. A zinc chromate (brass look) finish is used for doors with Bright Brass or Antique Brass hardware and a Satin Nickel finish for doors with Satin Nickel hardware. An optional Bright Brass finish hinge is also available. For extra security, all outswing doors have special hinges with a non-removable pin. This heavy duty ball-bearing hinge is available as an optional upgrade on the 24-Gauge Smooth Steel and Fiberglass doors. |

Steel L-Frame |
 Steel L-Frame doors are designed to fit into an existing wood door frame and are not recommended for New Construction type openings (called Rough Openings). Installing a Steel L-frame door should only require the removal of the old door slab, interior trim (if any) and the existing threshold. On finished (painted or stained) Steel L-frame doors the Steel L-frame is painted to match the inside color of the door and the aluminum weather stripped stops are painted to match the outside color of the door.

Adjustable Strike

We include a solid brass fully adjustable strike plate of our own exclusive design. This unique 2-piece construction makes our doors easier to custom fit. |
Reinforced Lock
Area |
 To reinforce the lock and deadbolt area, we add commercial gauge steel lock box to our 20-gauge doors , and a composite lock block to our 22 and 24-gauge steel doors.
